As a forward-looking organization, compliance and data protection are integral to our strategy, driving initiatives that build a culture of trust and transparency throughout our Nordic operations.

This is a temporary position with a fixed-term engagement of 18 months, focused on embedding a culture of compliance within the organization and implementing the Gap Solution system. There may be opportunities for extension upon project completion.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation and provide up-to-date reporting on organizational compliance status across the Nordic operations.
  • Training & Awareness Programs: Design and deliver ongoing training programs for management and staff, ensuring adherence to current regulations, best practices, and internal policies.
  • Compliance Advisory & Issue Resolution: Act as a trusted advisor, offering practical compliance guidance, managing data privacy practices, resolving compliance issues, and overseeing data breach incidents and data subject requests.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Regulatory Compliance: Adherence to local, national, and international regulations across Nordic markets.
  • Audit Success: Positive internal and external audits with minimal findings and swift improvements.
  • Issue Resolution: Effective handling of compliance issues with low incident rates related to data privacy.
  • Staff Awareness: High levels of employee awareness and adherence to GDPR and compliance policies.
  • Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications in Compliance or Data Protection are advantageous.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years in GDPR advisory, data protection, or compliance roles, with experience managing compliance programs.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in GDPR and data protection principles, including experience with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), data subject rights management, and implementing effective compliance practices. Experience with the Gap Solution system is considered an advantage.
  • Risk Management & Improvement: Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks, with a strong ability to coordinate audit findings and drive continuous improvements.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and a collaborative team player. Strong independent working skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (oral and written) with strong communication skills to support compliance guidance and deliver training.
  • What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation based on experience.
  • Flexible Work Arrangements with options for remote work.
  • Professional Development opportunities to expand your knowledge in data protection and compliance.
  • Collaborative Environment where your expertise will make a significant impact across the Nordic region.
