Your place of work will be at our Global HQ in Esbjerg, in Nordhavn (CPH), Denmark, in Gdynia, Poland or Hamburg, Germany. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel occasionally as required.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the ParaPy application, ensuring it aligns with business and engineering needs. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and managers to improve and refine our substation model.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Developing new features for the ParaPy application as required by the business.
- Managing the building and release process of the ParaPy application.
- Extending and maintaining our automated testing suite.
- Translating engineering rules into code through scoping, clarification, and knowledge acquisition.
- Building interfaces with other engineering applications.
- Managing deployment and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration.
Your profile & qualificationsWe are looking for an analytical and proactive engineer who is passionate about software development and automation in engineering processes. You should have a structured approach to problem-solving and a strong drive to innovate.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience writing Python code and working with large code repositories.
- Experience with cloud software (Azure), integrations between complex software solutions, and APIs.
- Knowledge of UI web development frameworks (React) and UI/UX design principles.
- Experience with software testing (PyTest), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development tools (Jira, GitHub)
- Knowledge of safety standards
