The position
As a Construction Project Manager, you will join a team where collaboration, learning, and team spirit are at the forefront. Our Production Support and Project Portfolio Management team consists of 9 Project Managers, 2 Project Portfolio Managers, and 1 dedicated intern, all working together to achieve excellence. Despite working on separate projects, our team members are deeply committed to collaboration. We constantly learn from each other, leverage our collective strengths, and support one another to achieve our common goals. As a Construction Project Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

• Manage cross-functional projects cutting across several different job families, facilitating our expansion and growth and optimizing and developing processes.

• Manage projects within construction, facilities, and utilities using your project management toolbox.

• Support key decisions throughout the project, including milestones, and provide clear goals and purpose for the project team members.

• Organize project teams, assign responsibilities, develop project schedules, and determine resource requirements.

• Create effective and transparent systems, structures, and processes to drive the project, applying essential project management tools and methods.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution, meeting scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:

• An academic degree in a relevant field i.e. engineering is preferred; combined with proven experience as a project manager, specializing in construction, engineering, facilities, and/or utilities.

• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.

• Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Danish is considered highly beneficial.

On a personal level, you possess exceptional organizational and leadership skills, enabling you to efficiently manage tasks and responsibilities. Your ability to motivate and guide less experienced colleagues showcases your strong communication and interpersonal skills. You foster a collaborative work environment and demonstrate commitment to project goals, ensuring all team members are aligned and focused on common objectives. Your strategic vision and proactive approach further enhance your effectiveness, inspiring confidence and trust among colleagues.
