We are seeking an experienced Construction Specialist to join our team in Denmark. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and driving our construction risk management practice, supporting both new and existing clients. We will rely on you to:
Serve as a subject matter expert, providing advisory and risk management solutions to clients in the construction industry
Develop and implement placement strategies for clients, including drafting submission documents, negotiating with insurers in Denmark and abroad, and providing recommendations to clients on the optimal insurance program
Collaborate with the broader Risk Management team to identify and capture new business opportunities
Advocate for clients during the claims process and advise them on claims-related matters
Maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders
Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Marsh Advisory Nordics practice
Work independently to deliver results and drive initiatives
What you need to have:
Extensive experience (5+ years) within the construction insurance industry, either as an underwriter, a broker or a risk manager with a proven track record of success
Familiarity with the Danish and Nordic construction and insurance markets is a must. Experience with foreign insurance markets would be an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to engage with clients and drive business development activities
Strong technical expertise in construction-related risks.
Knowledge of the various contractual regimes such as AB18 and FIDIC etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior-level stakeholders
Proven experience in developing and implementing placement strategies, drafting submission documents, and negotiating with insurers
Expertise in claims advocacy and advising clients on claims-related matters
Ability to work independently and show tangible results
Team player mentality with a focus on collaboration
