By harnessing the power of technology and social behavior, we have created a personalization-powered, community-driven e-commerce platform with almost 70 million community members. As a growing company like Vivino, we seek someone who excels at analyzing processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency.

Implement solutions that streamline workflows and boost overall performance
The Operational Excellence department at Vivino drives continuous improvement across all business areas. Our mission is to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction by identifying and eliminating waste, streamlining processes, and optimizing performance. We achieve this through implementing Lean principles, data-driven decision-making, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Our goals include reducing operational costs, improving customer experience, and increasing business agility.

Based in our Copenhagen office and reporting to our Director of Operational Excellence, you will use expertise in continuous improvement methodologies and project management to implement solutions that streamline workflows and boost overall performance within our e-commerce operations. You will work across different departments, learn valuable skills, and collaborate with talented individuals to streamline/simplify processes and improve the customer experience.

Your key responsibilities across these areas of focus include:

  • Identify Opportunities: Conduct thorough process assessments and identify areas for improvement, such as bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies.
  • Analyze Data: Utilize data analysis techniques to gather insights, measure performance metrics, and track progress.
  • Develop Improvement Plans: Create comprehensive improvement plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement Improvements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Lean mindset: Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste, streamline processes, and reduce cycle times. Utilize techniques like DMAIC to improve process quality and reduce defects.
  • Train and Mentor: Conduct training sessions to empower employees.
  • Project Management: Manage improvement projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you thrive in dynamic environments, readily adapting to change and shifting priorities. You possess a natural drive to achieve results and consistently seek ways to optimize processes. You are highly organized and methodical, bringing structure and clarity to complex projects. You are also adept at evaluating current practices, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing practical solutions. Your impactful communication skills enable you to influence others and drive positive organizational change. You are motivated by making a tangible difference and contributing to Vivino's overall success.

We know that we are putting a lot on the wish list for our new team member, so don't worry if you do not tick off all the boxes. Part of the Vivino value set is trusting intelligent people to develop and learn together.

Adding to the above, we envision that you have and can demonstrate the following:

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent project management, administration, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, MySQL)
