About the job

As a Contract & Market Controller at Liftra you will manage and govern a range of sales-related agreements and commercial contracts, with the aim to secure the quality of new or renegotiated agreements – focusing on terms related to warranties, risk exposure, commitments, liabilities, exclusivity, IP sharing, etc.

This role is pivotal in ensuring a profitable balance in Liftra’s contractual obligations both up and down stream in the value chain – while also acting as the legal focal point between Liftra, Clients and external attorneys throughout commercial negotiations.

Your primary tasks

  • Managing negotiations and review of various contract types like Term Sheets, Master Service Agreements, Letters of Intent, Non-Disclosure Agreements, etc. with clients and business partners.
  • Facilitate proper hand over to Operations – incl. detailed introduction of key contractual aspects of respective contracts to ensure operational and legal compliance.
  • Secure a profitable balance in Liftra’s contractual obligations both up and down stream – incl. warranties, risk exposure, LDs, liabilities, exclusivity, IPR, etc.
  • Conduct overall risk exposure analyses and monitoring across different contract types.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant and applicable legislations.
  • Build and maintain Delegation of Authority matrix to secure efficient decision making and clear delegation of mandate.
  • Define and maintain global processes for Contract Management – incl. relevant tools and systems alignment.

About you

Cand. Jur. or Cand. Merc. Jur. or similar background potentially combined with a degree in business administration is required.

Strong industry knowledge, preferably in the wind industry.

Proven experience in managing commercial contract negotiations, processes and tools.

  • Extensive knowledge of applicable legal legislations.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English. 
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills - building and maintaining effective business relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Know-how of common pricing models and structure is preferred
