Controller

We are looking for a self driven experienced project controller to join our team Are you passionate about cooperating across organizations and cultures. NNF Cellerator will operate in a novel facility which is part of the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s strategic focus areas in the Life science ecosystem. Cellerator aims to be at the forefront of cell therapy technology and engineering. Cellerator will operate as a contract development and manufacturing organisation for cell-based therapies and will be open to academia as well as industry. The project mission is to accelerate the development of cell-based therapy into clinical trials and to establish a new key unit in the cell therapy ecosystem of Denmark and beyond further supporting the strong growth of this field.  

Cellerator currently consists of 12 colleagues with diverse backgrounds and the team will increase during the coming years as part of the implementation strategy before going into operation state.

The Job 
You will be given a lot of responsibility from day one and besides being an excellent project controller, you are also known for your great interpersonal skills. You will be part of an international and purpose-driven working environment with colleagues of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Your key tasks will include: 

• Collecting and analyzing of cost estimates from project leads, suppliers and contractors ensuring optimal cost estimating processes across project participants

• Refining and Maintaining budget structures for both the CAPEX and developing and maintaining budget structures for the OPEX part of the project

• Refining and maintaining project controls systems and dynamic reporting tools for the total construction project

• Develop controls and reporting systems for the OPEX part of the project on a long term basis

• Maintaining detailed overview of budgets, committed cost, actual cost and forecasts – including engineering cost, contracting cost and owners cost

• Recurrent forecast meetings with project leads for ensuring up to date forecasting on project

• Change management regarding cost and implementations in forecasts

• Stakeholder management including Novo Holdings/Novo Nordisk Foundation accounting and finance and sister projects in the organization

• Financial Reporting to stakeholders, both colleagues in project, steering committees and boards
• Oversee invoicing process including allocating correct financial accounts and budget accounts
• Participating in procurement process development and maintenance for including financial numbers in committed cost
• Develop and manage contract management for the CAPEX part of the project

About you

Due to the novel nature of the Cellerator, curiosity outside of one’s own area is highly valued. You pride yourself with your analytical mindset and structured approach to your tasks. Your former colleagues still talk about your excellent stakeholder management skills, and they miss working with you due to your ability to create both results and good relationships with the people around you.  

We also imagine that you have:

• +5 years of Project Controls experience, preferably from large complex building projects
• Project Controlling experience from a Project Owner perspective is preferred.
• Strong communication- and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent excel skills
• Understanding the controlling lifecycle and interfaces with company accounting.
• Fluent in Danish and English
