You will be working from the company headquarters in Fredericia in Denmark. Your team will be positioned across the world, handling international projects. Therefore, you can expect around 60 days of travel per year.
Strong leader with a holistic overview of complex international projects
Being part of the executive management team and reporting directly to the CEO, you will have the overall P&L responsibility for all projects covering project execution, integrated sales and operational planning, resource management and allocation, Center of Excellence and warehouse. Our primary business activities are in Europe, US, and Asia Pacific. You will be managing a team of 9 people managers in direct reports located in Denmark and across our offices. Your main objectives will be to support your team and create a structured planning and execution of large complex projects to meet our customer and market expectations while driving global improvement initiatives to meet the overall strategy of the company. The right candidate will strengthen the project organisation and make sure that it utilises its full capacity. Your success will show in your ability to make sure the company exceeds customer expectations on safety, quality, and performance through strong leadership and teamwork. Technical and commercial mindset combined with strong people management skills
You preferably have a master’s degree within engineering or business combined with good technical understanding/experience. It is crucial that you have a commercial mindset, understanding costumers and financials, and that you have experience dealing with international large-scale projects, preferably from the wind industry, including understanding both the contractual terms, technician competences and the complexity in a project execution organisation. You are hands-on and curious to understand the technicians’ jobs, understanding which approach to take to drive major process changes. You have experience with international and cross-cultural people management and possess distance people management skills as well. In addition, you are strategically well-founded and a significant contributor in management meetings. Personally, you are a motivating and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a challenging environment. You are action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and take an innovative approach to operational management. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills and dare challenge the current mindset. Your management style is characterised by being visible and passionate about driving performance. Finally, you are fluent in spoken and written English.
