Coordinator for Clinical Trial Supplies - Temporary position (18 months)

As part of Novo Nordisk’s family, CMC Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for all Novo Nordisk non-clinical and clinical trials.

The Position

The position is in RTSM Set-Up, a team of 9 dedicated professionals responsible for setting up our supply management system. 

In most of our clinical trials we use an IT-system called Randomised Trial Supply Management (RTSM) to handle allocation of treatments to patients, manage shipments to hospitals around the world and ensure that we get the right data from our trials. The RTSM is set-up for each trial, and currently we operate around 50 live trials.

As our new Clinical Trial coordinator, you will be responsible for setting up the RTSM system according to the clinical protocol in coordination with a range of stakeholders to ensure that it delivers what is needed.

Together with experienced colleagues, you will also be involved in developing processes in our team that will enable us to work smarter in an informal working environment with a high degree of empowerment.

To succeed in the job, you will establish and maintain ongoing collaboration with relevant stakeholders within different functions in Novo Nordisk.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field. You could be a recent graduate who is looking to explore career opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry.

• Knowledge within Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar will be a plus

• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage

• Experience with stakeholder and project management is an advantage

• Experience with QMS and writing deviations/non-conformities is an advantage

• You communicate effectively in Danish and fluent in English

About the Department

Clinical Supplies Trial Set-up is a part of Clinical Supplies in CMC Development & Scaling. We are responsible for the planning, production, packaging, labelling and distribution of products for Novo Nordisk clinical trials worldwide. The department consist of six teams, preparing clinical trials for execution by forecasting product demand, simulating trial supply execution, setting up randomization and trial supply management system, preparing labels and directions for use.
