Do you have great market knowledge within the sports segment as well as larger sport chains and retailers in Denmark and Sweden? Would you like to play a significant role in the development of ONLY PLAY’s position in the Danish and Swedish markets?

During the past two years, we have experienced significant growth in our European market, and therefore we are now searching for an ambitious and dedicated Country Sales Manager who can ensure our future growth potential. We are looking for an energetic and structured candidate with documented experience from the Danish and Swedish sports sector and a strong general knowledge of the sporting industry.

We have ambitious growth plans for the future, and you now have the opportunity to become a part of our sales team. We are looking for Country Sales Manager who knows the sporting industry and who has the drive and the abilities to open the doors to new chains and sport stores in DK and SE.

THE JOB
As Country Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure growth in DK and SE. Together with our International Sales Manager, you will be responsible for making sure that ONLY PLAY’s targets are met and that sales strategies are understood and followed by the local sales teams. Your overall task will be to onboard new retail chains and customers as well as ensuring the right product package for the stores. As you will have a close dialogue with our International Sales Manager and the rest of the team at our HQ in Denmark, you will be an important advisor on a daily basis. More specifically, your responsibilities include:

  • Finding and opening new customers with ONLY PLAY in the sport sector.
  • Expand ONLY PLAY’s presence with key sports retailers.
  • Attending collection sales meetings.
  • Selling collections to existing customers in DK and SE.
  • Development and sparring to the local sales team, making sure all are informed about sales initiatives, budgets, collections, trends, events etc. in due time. 
  • Being the essential link between your markets and our HQ in Denmark, incl. the Product and Sourcing departments.
  • Daily and weekly overview of sales gaps on the collection for Dk and SE.
  • Developing sales activities within the Danish and Swedish markets and making sure that these are communicated and implemented.
  • YOUR BACKGROUND
    You have a strong sales profile and a proven track record within the sport industry in DK and SE where you have acquired significant market and customer knowledge with the major key players. You understand business and know how financial key figures are improved through the composition of the right product mix. In previous jobs, you have proven that you are structured and have the skills to open new doors, you have documented experience with developing and growing an existing customer base and you can create results based on your independent, structured and proactive work. Since you will play a central part in achieving the established budgets, it is essential that you are result-oriented, service minded and that you understand the importance of establishing good relations. Last, but not least, you thrive in a dynamic environment where each day is all about achieving to best results.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Documented sales experience from the Sport industry in DK and SE.
  • Solid knowledge about trends and products for the sports market in DK and SE.
  • Solid knowledge about key customers and experienced in doing business with these.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Product and result driven.
  • Solid numeracy and business acumen.
  • Fluent in Danish or Swedish and English skills, both in writing and spoken.
