Do you want to be a part of a data modelling project? Are you passionate about data? And are you ready to take charge of projects from start to finish? Then we need you at Players 1st in Aarhus - the industry leader in customer experience management solutions for golf clubs!
In recent years, we've been extremely busy developing our software which now assists more than 2500 golf clubs worldwide in gaining insights into their guests’ and members’ experiences through our survey platform. Their responses make up a valuable dataset, now allowing us to carry out advanced analytics based on millions of data points from various data sources.
As an intern at Players 1st, you do not need to be a golf expert. We're much more interested in your data analytics skills as you will be responsible for developing a churn prediction model, i.e. a model that estimates the probability that a member of a golf club will cancel his/her membership.
Managing the project (timing, analysis plan)
Initial analyses and preparation of data for modelling
Test of potential variables
Defining the churn prediction model
Test of model

Preferably living in Aarhus, as you will be working closely with our Director of Research – but remote work is also an option.
Knowledge about golf is a plus – but not a requirement.
Players 1st consists of 15 full-time employees, with 10 based at the headquarters in Aarhus. Your position as an intern will be in the research department, where you will be mentored by the Director of Research.
