Are you passionate about unravelling the mysteries of Earth’s magnetic field? Do you have a keen eye for detail, a self-motivated attitude, and strong problem-solving skills? About the role
In this position, you'll work at the forefront of geomagnetic research, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to process and analyze magnetic data. Your expertise will contribute to a deeper understanding of Earth's magnetic field, with the potential to make a significant impact in the field.

What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who:

  • has solid knowledge of Earth's magnetic field and is familiar with magnetic data
  • is experienced in using MATLAB or Python for data processing
  • ideally, has prior experience with processing magnetic data
  • is comfortable working with the Linux operating system (this is a plus).

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. 

The position is part-time (up to 15 hours per week) in agreement with the candidate. The position is temporary, lasting until 31 December 2026.

The starting date is 1 March 2025, or as mutually agreed.
