The position
As a Data Product Owner within a multinational agile team, you will play a vital role in the ongoing development of COSMOS, a pivotal digital product within our clinical development process. This product has a wide user base and numerous integrations with other systems and solutions. Your responsibilities include setting the vision and execution plan for building data products and designing data products to support current business needs and long-term data strategy, enabling innovative digital product solutions.
Your key responsibilities will involve:
Your role will have a direct impact on leveraging the full potential of data for clinical study management, collaborating across various IT systems. You will take ownership of the business outcomes of your data products and engage with a range of stakeholders, including data consumers, data stewards, and data scientists.
Qualifications
You are a positive, solution-oriented individual with an interest in process optimization, integrations, data flows, and IT system development. You are courageous in decision-making and enjoy exploring new ideas. You contribute to achieving team goals and success and lead by example. We expect you to take ownership, be structured, and comfortable with advising stakeholders. Additionally, you are proactive and have a strong drive to make a real impact on the business. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential.
About the Department
The position as Data Product Owner is based in the Digital Study and Monitoring Management area, part of a unit called Process Transformation & Digitalisation, where we are dedicated to leverage cutting-edge digital technology, data and processes.
Novo Nordisk drives clinical trials in more than 55 countries worldwide and collaborate with 6,000+ sites at hospitals and clinics. Digitalisation is key if we want to succeed with this.
Our aspiration: We lead the digitalisation of clinical development to provide new innovative medicines faster for patients living with severe chronic diseases.
We have solid experience in Clinical Drug Development, and we work closely with our stakeholders in headquarters in Denmark, Bangalore (India) and affiliates worldwide to ensure that our new processes are simple and robust.
In Digital Study and Monitoring Management, we are 50+ dedicated colleagues who strive to transform, digitise, optimise and drive the ways of working within clinical studies, so our many colleagues in HQ and in affiliates, as well as the investigators and site staff in clinical investigative sites around the world collaborating on our studies may successfully meet the future demands.
