Data Specialist

We are expanding and are therefore looking for a Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence (BI) team in a newly established position. WHAT MAKES YOU A KEY ASSET FOR ENERGI DANMARK?

As a Data Specialist you will be co-responsible for developing and implementing new tools, as well as helping maintain already existing tools for your Controlling colleagues.

• You engage in close collaboration with the team whether it be the development of new solutions or improving existing ones to enhance the quality of our deliveries
• You are constantly making sure that existing data processes, software and dashboards run and function as intended
• You are responsible for developing new procedures to strengthen our daily processes
• You are skilled in Python/SQL/Power BI, C#, VBA or similar

It is not expected that you have any prior in-depth knowledge of the energy/power sector, but it is of course an advantage.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have an academic background e.g. as Computer Science, software development or similar. You might have a few years of experience working from either a full-time position or a student job
• You have a strong technical skillset and a passionate approach to analysis and development
• You like to work both independently as well as in teams, where you challenge yourself and others
• You are structured and able to adjust and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment to meet all critical deadlines
• You are intrigued by systems-level thinking, enabling you to delve deeply into and comprehend crucial components and functions within systems
• You work in a structured and detail-oriented manner delivering high quality to make sure delivered reporting is correct every time
• You are fluent in both Danish and English.

YOUR NEW TEAM

As a Data Specialist, you will become an essential member of our Controlling team consisting of 15 employees. You will work closely with experienced professionals from various backgrounds, each contributing their unique insights and expertise in e.g. controlling, analysis and development. This diversity is our strength, fostering collaboration, mutual respect, and a shared vision. You will be part of the development team consisting of four employees where you will be able to work independently on your own projects.

The controlling team supports the entire organization with controlling and regulatory reporting as well as preparation of various reports and financial statements.
