The Delivery and Fulfillment Specialist within the Global Deal Desk plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sales organization through the Quote-to-Close process. This position ensures the seamless delivery of software licenses, cloud hosting services, and third-party solutions, all while optimizing revenue, maintaining compliance, and meeting customer expectations.
This role primarily supports the Europe region but also includes opportunities to collaborate on delivery operations globally, offering exposure to diverse markets and stakeholders.
As a trusted advisor to Sales, you will engage with multiple stakeholders across Finance, Fulfillment, Provisioning Teams, and Customers, driving efficiency and excellence in delivery operations. Key Responsibilities
Contract and CRM Validation: Cross-check contracts and CRM systems to ensure order lines align with the Bill of Materials (BoM). Deal Understanding and Support: Collaborate with Sales to deeply understand deal structures, product dependencies, and delivery requirements to ensure smooth execution and alignment with internal processes. Delivery Acceleration: Fast-track deliveries to meet critical revenue recognition timelines. Finance Coordination: Notify Finance of signed deals and work collaboratively on complex bookings. Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery process, including pre-requisite completion and fulfillment coordination. Third-Party Product Delivery Compliance: Facilitate the delivery of embedded and complementing third-party products while ensuring adherence to internal requirements and compliance with vendor agreements. Error and Omission Identification: Identify and resolve errors or omissions related to product dependencies and internal requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with Sales, Fulfillment, Provisioning Teams, Partners, and Customers to ensure alignment and address any delivery challenges. License Management: Manage license renewals, review customers' license history and entitlements, and facilitate version upgrades (legacy to IFS Cloud module mapping). Customer Support: Address customer decommissioning and offboarding requests in collaboration with the Fulfillment and Cloud Services teams. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager to support operational goals.
Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Order Processing, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Business Operations within the software industry. Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and business acumen. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present to senior audiences and write clearly and persuasively. Proven time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. Knowledge:
Solid understanding of software delivery processes, product compliance, and revenue recognition. Familiarity with CRM systems, order management, and license entitlement processes. Attributes:
