DFMEA Facilitator

We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client in the wind industry. You will lead the DFMEA team successfully through the DFMEA process, with associated risks reduced to an acceptable level. You will have a a proactive role, encompassing general leadership skills to support team members to do their best thinking.

Location: Mid Jutland, hybrid.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Relevant educational background and experience
• Experience from a similar role
• In depth knowledge the about mechanisms, terms and definitions in the DFMEA process
• Understand the PLM@SGRE project model
• Understand the relationship between DFMEA outputs and how they interact between relevant stakeholders in the value chain in accordance with PLM@SGRE V.4 deliverables
• High DFMEA documentation competence
• Competent moderator & ability to convince including good organization and presentation skills
• Will be able to interact with different design teams and stakeholders with respect for cultural diversity
• Strong English skills - oral and written
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Ensuring that the DFMEA methodology is followed in a uniform manner during DFMEA sessions with DFMEA owner´s in accordance with procedural basis
• Assessing the quality of a DFMEA and ensuring correct scope is covered
• Providing guidance and points of improvement when going through DFMEAs
• Knowledge of the APQP framework in the value chain as well as the use of Special Characteristics (CTX)
• Support the Product Owners and Design Engineers to have DFMEA plan & preparation in place
• Support the Design Engineer in selecting the relevant stakeholders and ensuring that all pre-work is done before first meetings
• Support the Design Engineer during the DFMEA sessions including support in relation with the agreed mitigation actions
• Internal maturity assessment of the DFMEA together with the Design Engineer and Q-Lead
• Guide the Design Engineer with the correct use/naming convention of Special Characteristics on 2D CAD drawings and other relevant technical specifications
• Participates in activities to improve quality in design such as table reviews
