The position
As a Digital Governance Lead, you will be responsible for:
Supporting the compliance function in developing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure by driving establishment and implementation of global governance for the AI Compliance Framework
Secure solid stakeholder management and alignment on governance with DD&IT, R&D and other relevant HQ areas, as well as IO and NAO
Aid in outreach to different parts of the company to ensure their AI processes conform with BECO’s AI repository and reporting
Creating governance overviews and proposals with appropriate levels of detail and presenting these plans to the management.
Provide clarity on roles and responsibilities in both BECO and the broader organisation
Ensure timely and adequate management reporting to relevant functions on establishment, governance and implementation of the AI Compliance Framework
Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk systems and policies, securing strong collaboration with the DK team and affiliates, providing support to teams within their area of responsibility, and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders to foster effective communication and cooperation.
Additionally, you are expected to be a key driver of the change management with key stakeholders related to the AI Compliance Framework and secure a constant improvement of processes to optimise quality, mitigate errors, improve speed, and ease takeover.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should hold a master’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Economics or other relevant topic, with a strong academic track record and grades. Other success criteria are:
+7 years of experience within project management, leadership or other relevant function, ideally from working with governance in a large organization
Extensive experience from driving change management in aligning digital workflows and adjacent governance company-wide
Preferably, experience with implementation of AI and/or Data Privacy regulation and overall project management around AI and/or Data Privacy
Ideally, Knowledge of ServiceNow or OneTrust solutions, or another platform for managing digital workflows
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across cultures
Fluency in oral and written English
On a personal level, you are innovative, proactive, and self-driven, with a structured approach that allows you to maintain an overview while communicating quickly and precisely with stakeholders. Furthermore, you possess strong communication and presentation skills and are a team player who fosters collaboration and contributes to a positive work environment, while having the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
About the department
This position is anchored in the Digital Ethics and Compliance Operations team in the Business Ethics Compliance Office (BECO) in Finance & Compliance (F&C).
BECO develops and leads the implementation of Novo Nordisk’s global ethics & compliance strategy and programme, which focuses on the prevention of fraud, bribery, and off-label promotion. BECO is also responsible for Novo Nordisk’s global systems and processes related to tracking payments to healthcare professionals, as well as compliance with data protection regulations and respect for human rights.
