Digital Optimization Partner

The position

In this position, you will be part of the Supply Chain and Operational Readiness department. You will take part in building the foundation for future operations, supporting the ambitious targets of standardization and increased capacity. Your role will be to drive optimizations, through a lean and digital mindset, to ensure robustness of our future processes.

Your responsibility

• Drive and document the alignment of the VSM (Value Stream Mapping) and lean strategy with our site partners
• Identify through process mapping workshops bottlenecks and waste points and escalate them
• Collaborate with IT/OT on exploring potential digitalization opportunities to support elimination of manual handlings and bottlenecks
• Support IT/OT on the prioritization of digital initiatives and building relevant business cases
• Project manage the development of a Digital twin for operational processes

Qualifications

• MSc in engineering or innovation with a flair for IT and digital solutions
• 6-7 years of experience within the lean field, a background as product owner or user experience designer is highly appreciated
• Capable facilitator, familiar with design thinking facilitation
• Familiar with cutting edge technologies such as AI, Machine learning, etc, and ability to challenge technical solutions.
• Global mindset and good stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in English both written and spoken

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 57,000 employees. 
Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across Product Supply (PS) to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the facilities of the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of 20 years from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
