The position
The role is expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, drive efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery, and support the organization in achieving its strategic objectives through successful project execution. Additionally, the role aims to expand the footprint of the Project Management Office in line with Novo Nordisk priorities and objectives.

As a Digital Project Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Project planning and execution: You will create comprehensive project plans outlining scope, workstreams, timelines, milestones, governance, RACI, risks, and resource allocation, while continuously following up on project progress, adjusting plans as needed, and preparing and executing project meetings, including SteerCo meetings.
• Cross functional project support: You will support and oversee projects that span multiple job families, ensuring alignment and optimization across functions, while providing tools tailored to the maturity of the team being supported.
• Stakeholder Management: You will strengthen existing relationships and create new ones by understanding stakeholders' needs and addressing their challenges and objectives, including those of internal and external stakeholders involved in co-creation innovative projects.
• Risk management: You will conduct structured risk and cost-benefit analyses, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
• Team leadership: You will Coordinate, coach, and empower project team members to enhance team performance and motivation.
• Innovation and tool exploration: You will identify and adopt new tools to enhance and innovate project management practices, ensuring they are effectively integrated into the team's workflow.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project management, with a preference for experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated experience with GenAI tools and knowledge of tools such as MS Project, Jira, and PowerBI.  Experience with Azure DevOps, Clarity, Smartsheet, and Tableau is an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in the digital space or early research and drug discovery is an advantage.
• Great communication skills with all levels in the organization, and fluency in both spoken and written English.
• As a person, you possess a high level of flexibility, adaptability, and strong relationship-building skills. You adapt and excel in cross-functional and international collaboration, effectively coaching and engaging project team members.

The Project Management Office (PMO) at Novo Nordisk is a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to effectively driving and overseeing project execution within the organization. As part of the R&ED and DSI departments, the PMO plays a crucial role in aligning project activities with strategic objectives, ensuring efficient execution, and fostering innovation.
