The department
You will be part of the management team in the DD&IT PS unit Technology Foundation & Transformation, where we are united in changing the way, we work in Product Supply. Product Supply is the largest organisational unit in Novo Nordisk with 20,000+ employees globally across five continents, being responsible for the full supply chain of all Novo Nordisk products.
You will head up the unit PS Technology Partnering; a high performing, international, and diverse unit, driven by the vision to make adaptable change by exploring, digitalising, and automating complex business challenges in Product Supply.
The position
As our new director, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in PS Technology Partnering and partnering with a wide range of stakeholders across Novo Nordisk. In doing so, you will be responsible for ensuring an optimal strategy that sets ambitious, yet realistic goals for the department.
You will manage and develop a unit of approx. 30-45 dedicated and talented employees, spilt into teams. You will report to the CVP of Technology Foundation & Transformation. The position is based in Ballerup, Denmark, and you should expect to visit other Novo Nordisk sites for collaboration and occasional travel activities.

We expect that you have:
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Strong people management skills, where you will act as an authentic and credible role model for our Novo Nordisk values, demonstrating a high level of integrity, personal drive, and strategic insight
Certain understanding of various production processes, IT and automation complexities, GxP regulations, etc. The level of complexity is high as the strategic decisions have a global impact across Product Supply
Experience within Agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe), IT/tech in a GxP context, and cutting-edge technologies
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 10 years of work experience ideally in the interface between production and IT, with solid leadership experience, stakeholder management capabilities, and a proven track record of creating business results within a complex matrix set-up. As a person you are an ambitious and innovative team player who has a result-oriented way of working. Most important of all, you are passionate about powering digital transformation across the entire value chain!
