Financial Planning, Reporting and Insights is part of PSQIT Finance and Business Support, a dynamic and diverse organisation of ~200 employees. The area is responsible for, amongst other, steering the productivity agenda within PSQIT, driving efficient resource allocation and ensuring sustainable scaling of our organization.

About the role
As Director of Financial Planning, Reporting and Insights you will lead a team of ~10 Finance professionals, based in Bagsværd, Denmark. The team is truly diverse across multiple parameters, dedicated and engaged and is responsible for driving decision-making and business impact through execution and development of best-in-class financial processes and reporting – ensuring strong resource allocation and development of the global PSQIT Finance functions in line with the Global Finance Strategy. Considering the significant ongoing investments in scaling manufacturing capacity, the function must both drive daily operations, while developing the processes and people needed to succeed in the future. Proactive finance partnering, and a continuous focus on ensuring opportunities to maximize the way we generate value to our stakeholders, is key in that regards.
Based on the deliverables anchored in the team you will be responsible for generating insights, and bringing forward recommendations, informing senior management decision making. To succeed you will need to build a strong network across Novo Nordisk, and in particular across PSQIT, fostering an enterprise mindset and a strong collaboration across the Global PSQIT Finance organisation.
The role is associated with a significant degree of senior management exposure; you will become a member of the Business Finance & Analytics management team, and the cross-functional PSQIT Finance Leadership team, while reporting to the Vice President of Business Finance & Analytics. In addition hereto you will work closely with our Group Finance function informing and supporting an enterprise perspective on Novo Nordisk Cost of Goods Sold.
Qualifications
You have a strong, proven leadership track-record, an analytical approach, excellent stakeholder management skills and great personal impact. You are keen to, and strong in, setting direction for and developing your functional organisation as well as the associated financial processes, IT systems and performance management models.
You have a relevant master’s degree within Finance, and a strong financial background across broader financial disciplines.
The job requires you to be a positive, open-minded, team play with great communication skills and the ability and interest to navigate in a diverse and dynamic stakeholder landscape – at all levels in the organization, including senior leadership. You have, and apply, a continuous improvement mindset and as a person you are ambitious, proactive and engaged. As a leader you have a genuine interest in developing employees and teams.
