Director for Production Support

The position
You will be responsible for Production Support with six direct references (two Senior managers, two Associate managers, one professional and one department assistant) covering a total of approx. 100 employees and 11 leaders incl. the ones in direct reference. 

The department is primarily divided into four areas:

• Project management office: Project execution, Project portfolio management and Shutdown management
• Maintenance & Engineering: Metrology and Planning, Scheduling & Reliability incl. SAP PM/MM
• Facility management: Building maintenance, Canteen, Security, GMP Cleaning, Seating, Gowning, PEST control, Black utilities and general Facility management
• Circular Factory & EHS: Health & Safety and Environment incl. driving local “Circular for Zero” strategy

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead and coach the leadership team and department in succeeding with day-to-day tasks as well as setting the long term strategic direction.
• Actively participate in global Production Support network groups, where you have the opportunity to learn, get inspired and contribute with your know-how across sites. 
• Be part of the AM Hillerød Management team and thereby be part of leading the whole production site as well as playing a key role in the expansion projects on the factory.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position:

• You are passionate about pharmaceutical production and supporting in every way to deliver high quality products to our patients.
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within pharmacy, engineering, business administration or similar and preferable some years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
• You have extensive leadership experience incl. leading leaders.
• You use your excellent cooperation skills when you manage your stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure we reach solutions that will meet both requirements and stakeholder interests. 
• You are well-organized, independent and have a flexible but firm approach.
• As we work in a global business environment, we expect you to be proficient in English, in speech as well as in writing. Danish is an advantage, not a requirement.
• As a person, you are professional and dedicated by nature. You are constructive and full of initiative and thrive in a challenging and fast environment full of ambitious people. You have excellent implementation skills, and in your mind no assignment is too big or too small for you to take on.

 
About the department
Production Support in AM Hillerød is a part of the global production division Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT). In Production Support all highly qualified employees with different backgrounds strive for our common purpose to support the production and implement Novo Nordisk strategies in AM Hillerød, which right now calls for scaling to reach many more patients across the World. 

The production at the site consists of all processes from formulation of the specific product, filling and inspecting the product, assembly into pens, packaging to orders and shipping the product out of the site towards the patients across the World.
