Director, Outsourcing Management

The position

As a leader in Clinical Outsourcing Management, you will have the opportunity to: Lead a successful and growing team of professionals dedicated to supporting the outsourcing of activities for successful trial execution in Novo Nordisk. Develop and execute the outsourcing strategy for clinical services in collaboration with Trial Operations and external partners. Establish strong collaborative partnerships with clinical vendors, driving supplier selection, management, and oversight. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback and coaching to team members. Drive vendor assessments and participate in inspections and audits. Qualifications To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate who has: Strong experience in clinical outsourcing management, preferably from a Global Clinical Research Organisation or global pharma organisation. Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders. Experience in driving supplier selection, management, and oversight. Knowledge of clinical trial operations and regulations. A master degree within business or natural sciences with a strong analytical and data driven mindset. About the department The Global Trial Office & Vendor Management team is responsible for managing and driving clinical outsourcing in Novo Nordisk. We work closely with Trial Operations and external partners to develop and execute the outsourcing strategy for clinical services.
