About the Role:
We are looking for a detail focused EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Engineer to become part of our Lynge team. This entry-level position has an integral part in supporting the long-term strategic goals of our company by ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards across our operations and supply chain. Your work will have a significant impact on our strategic plans, affecting outcomes over the next 3-5 years.
What you will do
Supplier Audits: Develop and establish a list of suppliers to be audited according to the Suppliers Code of Conduct Audit instructions, in collaboration with the Global Procurement Team. Audit Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, third-party auditing bodies, and internal team members to develop and carry out the supplier Code of Conduct (COC) audit strategy and framework. Corrective Actions: Follow up on audit findings, ensuring corrective actions are addressed and closed in a timely manner. Documentation: Ensure Supplier COC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and audit checklists are updated and archived appropriately. Site Inspections: Participate in regular site EHS inspections and follow up on any required actions. Committee Participation: Organize and participate in EHS committee meetings, record outcomes, and ensure follow-up on actions. System Management: Develop relevant EHS-related management system documentation and training materials. Emergency Drills: Coordinate emergency drills with third-party vendors and report on progress. Training Coordination: Assist in training third-party consultants as required. Resource Monitoring: Ensure the measurement and monitoring of electricity and water consumption, as well as waste data, are reported accurately in designated databases. Sustainability Initiatives: Suggest improvement areas and initiatives to ensure EH&S and Sustainability KPIs are met. What you bring
Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Studies, or a related field. Certifications: ISO 45001 Lead Auditor ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Lovpligtig Arbjedsmiljøuddannelse (Mandatory Health and Safety Education) Preferred experience
2 years of relevant experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety roles. Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards. Personal competencies

Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including global suppliers, auditing authorities, and Danish authorities.
