Biogasclean A/S is a Danish company with headquarter in Odense, factory in Thailand and sales offices currently in USA, Brazil, and Canada. We are seeking an Electrical and Automation Design Engineer to our Head quarter in Odense. Biogasclean is a leading supplier of biological desulphurization and methanation systems with more than 370 plants in operation or under construction in +40 countries. As part of the CycleØ Group, a global player in sustainable solutions and biogas optimization, we have access to extensive resources and expertise that strengthen our mission to deliver green solutions worldwide.

To support our mission, we are looking for an Electrical and Automation Design Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team.

Responsibilities

As an Electrical and Automation Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and optimizing our electrical and automation systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and supporting our teams with expertise in your field.

Your primary responsibilities encompass:

Work assignments
• Work on current and new technologies in the electrical and automation area.
• Design and implement PLC and HMI programming.
• Develop and optimize remote access and secure connectivity solutions.
• Provide electrical engineering support for projects, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
• Create and maintain standard documentation for all units in our portfolio.
• Offer technical guidance and develop guidelines for colleagues in PM and Service teams.

Professional qualifications
• Proven experience in electrical engineering and 2D drawing.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (like Siemens, Schneider or Allen Bradley)
• Familiarity with structured information systems and standards in electrical design.
• Experience with SCADA interfaces is a plus.
