AIS Technology Ltd, Zejtun, Malta, is looking for an Electrical Engineer.
Indefinite contract.
Job description Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your will:
• Assist in the design of the company’s engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, such as local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Participate in the project coordination, from initial design to final installation. This includes liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and installers, overseeing budgets, and ensuring projects are completed on time.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure our systems integration and compatibility with other building systems (HVAC, lighting etc).
• Supervise on site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and system specifications.
• Contribute to project planning and execution by reviewing proposals and plans in coordination with clients, client representatives, and contractors.
QualificationsHere is what you need to excel in this post:
• Be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Have two years’ work experience in electrical engineering
• Enjoy both site work and office-based tasks
• Be smart, highly motivated and able to work on your own initiative;
• Have good written and verbal skills in English (knowledge of Maltese is a plus)
• Hold a valid local driving licence
