Endpoint Management Specialist

We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project in the renewable industry. Are you a Endpoint Management Specialist looking for a new adventure?

 

You will support to analyze and resolve a persistent PC performance issue that has been affecting them since the start of the year. This analysis is focused on improving performance within their Windows client estate. The Windows clients are all hybrid domain joined to on-prem AD and Entra ID, with ConfigMgr and Intune running with Co-Management. Our client has a working DEX (Digital Employee Experience) solutions used to collect data points about performance of clients, which is used to detect the performance issue and to prove it is improved.

You will join a agile organization structured into IT Product Lines (IPLs). This role is part of the "Digital Workplace" IT Product Line, Team “Endpoint Management” which manages the setup and operation of all the client's workplace devices. The Endpoint management team consist of 12 team members, a scrum master, an architect and a product owner and all employees are located in Denmark, and Malaysia.

Location: Greater Copenhagen, onsite.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong experience from a similar position
• Strong management skills
• Relevant educational background
• Professional level of English - both oral and written
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Review the analyze already performed on the PC performance issue
• Work with Problem Manager to document findings and plan
• Setting Up PC Performance Benchmark Testing
• Develop benchmark tests to assess the impact of each baseline agent in the current system image
• Conduct tests such as benchmarking, uninstalling an agent, performing a new benchmark, and repeating the process for other agents
• Collaborating with Baseline Agent Owners
• Work with the owners of baseline agents to explore performance impact of each agent and possibilities for improvements
• Use DEX to report on performance for each agent
• Conducting a Comprehensive Environment Review
• Perform a general review of the IT environment to identify both quick fixes and long-term performance improvement initiatives related to
• Windows Settings
• ConfigMgr and Intune setup impacting Windows Client
• Group Policy setup
