Engineer for the Approval of MAN Energy Solutions Products

Do you want to influence the green development of maritime transport by ensuring the approval of MAN Energy Solutions products? If so, you might be our new colleague for tasks within classification.

You will play an important role in:
The tasks of the classification department consist of communication and case processing with classification societies, licensees, and international organizations, as well as processing plant-specific information within the company.

You will be part of a dynamic department with dedicated colleagues and interesting tasks. The team you will join is responsible for design approvals, type testing, certificates for 2- and 4-stroke engines, as well as coordination work within risk assessment and warranty cases.

Your main focus will be:

• Performing technical evaluation of components in relation to classification rules, as well as correspondence regarding approvals with licensees, classification societies, and other partners
• Coordination and case processing across the organization
• Collecting information in Engineering and R&D and supporting knowledge sharing between departments
• Approval of MAN ES products

In addition:

• You have an engineering background or equivalent.
• You can work independently, systematically, and responsibly in a team-oriented environment.
• You have good English skills, both spoken and written.
• You have knowledge of diesel engines and related systems in the marine field in general. Knowledge of classification rules and regulatory requirements is an advantage but not a requirement.
