The Position
As our Engineering/Operation Responsible (ER/OR), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing control of cutting-edge in-line/on-line and at-line analytical systems for real-time process monitoring, control, and optimization within our operations.
Your responsibilities will be:
• Lead and oversee the implementation and ongoing control of on-line and in-line/at-line PAT instruments within our operations, ensuring they are ready for seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues that may arise during implementation and operations, providing vital support to maintain the efficiency and reliability of our processes.
• While anchored in process support, act as the PAT responsible, ensuring that PAT is always in control during operations
• Plan and document validation activities according to regulatory and internal Novo Nordisk requirements.
• Ensure SOPs and training are up to date.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
• Strong technical background in chemical engineering, biotechnology, pharmacy, or related fields.
• Experience with in-line/on-line/at-line analytical techniques such as spectroscopy (NIR, UV, IR, Raman), chromatography (GC, LC), or similar methods.
• Familiarity with process control and pharmaceutical downstream processing.
• Understanding of method automation with PAT management system and DCS integration will be considered an advantage.
• Experience in the developing and validating analytical methods and equipment, particularly in the context of Science-risk based validation (SRV), will be advantageous.
As a person, you enjoy working with different stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, assess, and document activities, ensuring the reliability for measurements of product attributes in real-time. Your efforts will revolutionize and elevate the efficiency and quality of our protein purification production process, paving the way for a new course in the future process monitoring paradigms.
