The position
In Novo Nordisk we have a Triple Bottom Line ensuring focus on environmental, social and economic responsibility. We aim to minimize impact on the environment and have a very ambitious environmental strategy called “Circular for Zero”.
As our new Environmental & Energy Professional you will play a key role in supporting the project and Site Environment & Energy Partner on environmental matters, such as environmental screenings, compliance applications and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting.
Your days will be highly varied spectrum of administrative work and hands-on construction site tasks.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Collect and report environmental and energy data while using predictive modelling to predict future events or outcomes
Take part in ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, ISO 14001 (environmental management system) and ISO 50001 (energy management system)
Collaborate, guide, and support colleagues and external consultants regarding environmental aspects.
Support process for identifying environmental optimisation projects, and follow up on agreed targets
Strive for continuous improvement in Novo Nordisk environmental strategy "Circular for Zero"
Furthermore, you will be supporting coordinating the involvement and inclusion of relevant stakeholders in various areas within Novo Nordisk and actively participate in cross-functional initiatives, such as manufacturing, product supply, environment, risk management, etc.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role you have the following:
Bachelor’s degree within Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or other relevant field and minimum 1 year of experience within one or more areas of environmental aspects in industries
Experience with legislative requirements, ISO 14001 and 50001 standard
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Ability to negotiate the right solutions while balancing the response with business needs
Fluency in written and spoken English and at least professional working proficiency in Danish
As a person, you are service minded, goal oriented, a strong team player and enjoy working both indoors and outdoors. You are accustomed to and thrive working in a dynamic environment. Since you will collaborate with various professions and across Novo Nordisk, including the central departments, you need to have good stakeholder management skills. You can prioritize between many important tasks.

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEX). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT), which globally employ approximately 28,500 of Novo Nordisk’s 64,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now.
