Are you passionate about technical project management and skilled in coordinating complex equipment-related tasks? We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our team in Devices and Delivery Solutions (DDS), Testing & Verification (T&V).

If you’re ready to embrace a dynamic role and make a significant impact, read on and apply today for a life-changing career.

The position
As an Equipment & Validation Project Manager in the Equipment & Computed Tomography (CT) team, you will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive overview of all our equipment to ensure stable and reliable operations and you will contribute to the continuous improvement of day-to-day operations and engaging in tactical initiatives.

Your main tasks will be focused on:

•    Coordinate the maintenance and development of automated test equipment with both external suppliers and internal departments. This involves creating and maintaining a comprehensive one-year action plan, identifying execution dependencies and risks, and implementing mitigations for high-risk deliverables. It also includes ensuring key stakeholders are informed, involved, and available as needed

•    Manage a spectrum of activities including the implementation of new hardware/software features, fixes and repairs, IT system updates, new feature implementation, implementation of new fixtures for testing special devices, revalidation of the equipment, etc. This also involves aligning with suppliers, prioritizing and scheduling development initiatives, and ensuring timely execution through comprehensive follow-up

•    Manage the overall test equipment portfolio, including forecasting and planning for maintenance, acquisition, and decommissioning. This will require creating and maintaining individual plans for each piece of equipment, ensuring readiness for crucial time points such as calibration, qualification, and on-site maintenance, and providing input for budgeting while maintaining an overview of running costs
•    Provide guidance to management on equipment upgrades and new acquisitions. This entails making an objective analysis of various options, presenting evidence of prior attempts and unexplored opportunities, and proposing alternatives and recommendations for acquiring new equipment, adapting existing systems, or decommissioning where necessary
•    Map and prioritizing equipment development tasks across the T&V department, managing shared resources among different projects, identifying dependencies between plans, and proposing solutions that maximize efficiency
•    Manage multiple complex equipment-related projects, guiding teams of highly skilled engineers and specialists, and engaging with various stakeholders within Novo Nordisk and external suppliers.

Qualifications

To be a competitive candidate, you should have:
•    A master’s degree in engineering or any other relevant field
•    A minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably in a regulated industry
•    Technical understanding of validated equipment
•    Excellent stakeholder management and planning skills
•    Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English
•    Experience with managing multiple complex equipment

On a personal level, you are expected to prioritize the long-term view and demonstrate the ability to forecast future needs. Additionally, you should possess strong communication skills and the capacity to build and nurture relationships. A methodical and structured approach to work tasks is crucial. Furthermore, you are expected to be pragmatic, prioritize knowledge sharing, and foster collaboration. This role also demands the ability to think critically, identifying weak spots and risks, and persistently pushing to mitigate them. Follow-up to ensure the successful execution of plans is also key. Moreover, the role requires the capability to make decisions and set direction in situations where stakeholders have differing priorities and are unable to reach an agreement.

About the department
You will join the Testing & Verification department in Devices and Delivery Solutions (DDS), which plays an important role in the medical device and primary packaging development process.
