The position 

You will have a key role in driving strategic initiatives within Investment | Engineering & Sourcing. This happens in close collaboration with the Corporate Vice President, management team and other project managers working on strategic projects. Position is located in Bagsværd but will move to Taastrup in Q4 2024.

 

Within this role your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Be a member of the IESMgmt team 
  • Prepare and steer IESMgmt meetings enabling focus and efficient decision making. 
  • Oversee Annual wheel-related activities, including Business Review meetings, Employee engagement survey (internally known as Evolve), recruitment tracking, and relevant governance body interactions. 
  • Organizing functional meetings for knowledge sharing, e.g. Lunch & Learn sessions, offsites, department meetings. 
  • Prepare presentations and communication for various events 
  • Manage ad-hoc projects for the management team in line with strategic priorities of the function. 

Not two days will be similar. You will collaborate across many parts of Novo Nordisk allowing you to develop fast and build a strong network across the company. 

 

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree within Economics, Engineering, Business, or similar experience. 
  • Typically 6+ years of relevant work experience. 
  • Preferably experience with executive support, project execution, process optimisation, and/or offshoring, and exposure to senior stakeholders . 
  • Ability to break down problems, structure processes and create top-down communication.  
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English on a professional level. 

 

About the department 

Investment | Engineering & Sourcing is part of the Product Supply organization. Product Supply is a modern technology organization that proactively drives the purpose of Novo Nordisk and delivers the highest quality of products to patients in a sustainable and efficient way.  

  

In IES, we play a key role in ensuring that there is sufficient capacity to treat our patients worldwide. We are doing so by supporting our global capex projects succeeding in their projects through engineering and sourcing activities. When we talk about capex projects, we are referring to maintenance and expansion of production facilities.  

As a function we sit in the sweet spot between our global supplier base and our colleagues in the projects who are considered our customers.  

  

Due to the large growth in the overall company, we have also a significant increase in capex spend and related projects that we are supporting. This situation gives a fantastic opportunity to strengthen the contributions we are delivering even more as well as driving change through the capex projects in line with the company aspirations.
