The Position
As a Downstream Development Scientist, you will develop robust and scalable downstream processes (eg. purification, filtration, enzymatic modification etc.) both by hands-on laboratory work and in close collaboration with our CDMOs/CMOs.

About the Department
The job is placed in the department Downstream Development in CMC Development & Scaling, located in Bagsværd, Denmark. Our main responsibility is to develop downstream purification processes for APIs used in clinical trials. We do so in close collaboration with the research and manufacturing units, pilot facilities, and Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs). The department has 100+ employees divided in 8 teams that work together.
Currently, we are expanding the gene therapy area within the company and developing technologies involving process development for plasmid DNA, mRNA, LNP and AAV particles.
