Responsibilities:
Perform extra high voltage cable jointing and termination tasks for voltage grades ranging from 132kV to 400kV, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety guidelines.

• Install, maintain, and repair extra high voltage cables and associated equipment within the specified voltage range
• Conduct comprehensive cable testing, fault location, and troubleshooting activities for different voltage grades
• Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects within the designated voltage range
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards throughout the jointing process
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including voltage grade specifications and test results

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Extra High Voltage Cable Jointer, specifically working with voltage grades ranging from 132kV to 400kV
• Proven proficiency in jointing and terminating extra high voltage cables within the specified voltage range, supported by a certificate verified by the extra-high voltage supplier."
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety protocols associated with 132kV to 400kV voltage grades
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions related to the specified voltage range
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in extra high voltage cable systems
• Good teamwork and communication abilities, with a focus on collaboration within the specified voltage range

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in extra high voltage cable jointing or related field, specifically encompassing 132kV to 400kV voltage grades
• Extensive experience working with different types of extra high voltage cables (XLPE, oil-filled, etc.) within the specified voltage range
• Familiarity with advanced cable testing and fault location equipment utilized in the 132kV to 400kV range
