Experienced Full Stack Developer

ViTolker, is one of the fastest-growing interpretation companies in Denmark. ViTolker was established with the main purpose of restoring trust in the translation and interpretation industry. We are an innovative translation and interpretation agency, that set out to create a smart digital interpretation and translation technology.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on fullstack developer to finish building, launching, and leading our development in the creation of the future of the translation and interpretation industry- as part of our leadership.

The role
We are looking for a full stack developer and architect, who is excited to make an impact and has the skills to match.

You should be comfortable working in a busy environment where prioritizing tasks is fundamental.

Likewise, it is important to us that you can work independently on a large framework, debugging it and further improve other's code.

You should be excited to work on large systems and be able to understand, debug and optimise and refactor code. You need to be experienced with automation and optimizing databases.

Required qualifications:
3+ years experience with software development in Node.js as an environment and NestJS as a framework.

Experience in Javascript Frameworks (React.js)

Experience in DevOps

Having worked with large frameworks before, debugging and refactoring other's code.

Firm understanding of databases (MySQL, or similar)

Writing fast and efficient algorithms is key

Strong understanding of software architecture and best practices (Clean code / SOLID / DRY / Design patterns)

Experienced with data security best practices.

REST API design

hands-on architecting and building products from pre-launch through scale
