The Position

As a Finance Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring effective bookkeeping and cash collection across our 5 Group companies located in Denmark, Netherlands, UK, Spain and Italy as well as supporting our US operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

• • Ensuring up-to-date bookkeeping for European companies.
  • Cash collection in cooperation with local sales / management
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT reconciliation and reporting
  • Intercompany payments and reconciliations
  • Month-End Closing: Support Finance Controllers
  • Assist and support financial operations in the United States.
  • Backup for Finance Controller tasks during vacation and sickness.

Your Profile:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in bookkeeping.
• Education: Relevant education within accounting.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in finance-related systems such as ERP and data analytics tools; experience with BC 365 and Power BI is preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Proficient in both Danish and English
• IT Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks, and you’re adaptable to handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Workplace and Hours:

You will be part of an international team of around 70 dedicated colleagues, with 30 located at our headquarters in Stenløse, Denmark, where you will be based. You will report directly to our CFO.

It is a 37-hour position, but 30-32 hours can be negotiated if desired.
