Finance Assistant – Account Receivable

The Finance Shared Service Center supports seven countries plus eCom and is part of the HQ Finance function at Flying Tiger Copenhagen. In this role, you will be part of the Account Receivable team in Finance Shared Service Center. The department consist of 31 team members in a professional and informal work environment located in the centre of Copenhagen.

You will refer directly to the Head of Accounts Receivable & Payable.

This is the job

As Finance Assistant, you will be responsible to ensure all type of retail postings, documentation, reconciliation of accounts and preparation of materials for auditors and other stakeholders.
You will be first point of contact for employees at the stores or departments in different countries to ensure high quality in the retail processes for customers and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Make correct and timely posting of retail statements, bank transactions, financial expenses etc.
• Reconciliation of cash, credit card settlements, banks etc.
• Prepare material to month end and year end
• Secure that internal controls are performed and documented at period end
• Prepare materials to internal and external stakeholders
• Answer questions from stakeholders related to accounts receivable 
• Create invoices timely to customers and make sure customer data is updated

This is you

We imagine that you have experience from a Finance department – maybe within account receivable or from Retail as a Store Manager.

You have skills in MS Office and particularly in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems and preparation of reconciliations, documentation and period end closings.

Also, we expect you hold a business level proficiency in spoken and written English and Danish.
