About ALIS

Initially born as a Danish skate wear brand, ALIS was established in the free town of Christiania, Copenhagen in 1995. The brand achieved international recognition as a true pioneer of youth culture, skateboarding and streetwear. It has been known for its provoking gorilla-marketing and passionate skating community. After years of hibernation, the brand is now ready to enter a new 2.0 era of ALIS. For 2025, a new era of ALIS will re-launch under new investors and new management – with a refined and new direction reimagining ALIS as a contemporary streetwear fashion label.

The role

This is a very exciting and new position at ALIS under the new management and new ownership where you will be part of an exciting growth journey. You will refer to the CEO at ALIS.

You will have an important and influential role taking care of finance for ALIS with daily hands-on operational tasks. At the same time, you will join a new ambitious team on an exciting growth journey – supported by truly dedicated owners.

Tasks/responsibilities

• Build financial management and analysis structures, including being an active sparring partner for the CEO and the rest of the team
• Supporting the organization with financial information and bringing a good understanding of financial data and performance to the organization
• Optimization and automation of financial processes and other administrative processes
• Responsibility for the day-to-day bookkeeping with hands-on accounting, reconciliations, debtor, debtor follow-up, creditors, financial costs, and reporting
• Month-end process to ensure a correct basis for monthly budget and P&L
• Budget/P&L analysis, execution and management in cooperation with the CEO

Experience

• An accounting/economics background and preferably bachelor or master’s in finance/accounting or trained accountant
• Good IT skills, e.g. economics or similar systems and MS Office
• Competent and experienced in the use of IT systems, both for process optimization, reporting and analysis
• Experience with financial management, controlling, follow up on key figures, hands-on bookkeeping and reconciliations
• You have good communicate skills
• Hands-on and good at maintaining an overview
• Independent, structured, responsible, likes to streamline and optimize and takes pride in delivering a high quality of work
• Positive, empathetic, and good at starting and maintaining relationships with your colleagues
• Very good spoken and written English skills
