We are excited to announce a unique opportunity within our Finance team for an experienced Business Controller in Vejle. We are looking for a candidate who can bring expertise to our team.
As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks that support our operation, financial reporting and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with management and various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely analysis and reporting.
Your tasks will include
Inventory reporting – Prepare weekly inventory reports and monthly inventory calculations, including indirect production cost, provision for obsolete inventory and aging reporting. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the yearly standard cost update and a quarterly review of the assumptions used in the calculation of standard cost.
Cost of material – Prepare monthly analysis of cost of material and provide input for the monthly reporting. Weekly analysis of variances including reporting to the Plant Manager. Drive a project to understand material and labor efficiency. Provide input to reporting of cost of material (both actuals and forecast).
Financial Reporting & Analysis – Participate in the preparation of monthly flash reports, best estimates, forecasts, and budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders. Analyze monthly results for operations (cost of material. freight expenses, direct labor and operating expenses) and provide comments on flash and actuals. Participate in monthly reporting procedures.
Compliance & Audit – Provide input for VAT reporting in Denmark and Poland including a review of the final reporting. Prepare statistics reporting and participate in ICFR procedures.
Payments & Accruals – Approve supplier payments, prepare payroll accruals and other reconciliations for month-end.
Support & other projects – Provide ad hoc analysis and support management functions, Participate in implementation of new ERP system in 2026.
