This is the role and main tasks
You will be an integral part of the shared service finance team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective financial operations. After a thorough introduction, you will be responsible for driving period-end closing procedures, ensuring timely reporting of financial figures, and analyzing financial data to maintain accuracy and compliance. Your role will also include managing intercompany invoicing, providing support to the accounting team, and assisting local auditors with their requirements at year-end.

Your main tasks will be:

Driving period-end closing procedures and ensuring timely reporting of financial figures.

Managing intercompany invoicing and reconciliation.

Processing ad hoc payments for social fees and taxes.

Booking and reconciling bank transactions.

Reconciling relevant balance sheet accounts.

Providing support and backup to the accounting team.

Assisting local auditors with their requirements at year-end.

Driving local transfer pricing agreements and documentation in collaboration with local auditors.

Performing ad hoc tasks as needed.

You will be part of our Accounting Global team and working with the other members of our Finance Team, as well as supporting Stibo Systems and Stibo DX. The Finance team is around 23+ people and most are working out of our HQ in Aarhus with a good mix in gender and age.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Controller who thrives in a fast-paced international environment. You should have a passion for finance, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to navigate complex financial processes. Working closely with the global finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Additional Candidate Requirements:

You have a relevant education in economics and speak and write both Danish and English at a high level.

+3 years of experience form a similar role

Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.

Experience in working with ERP systems

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex financial data.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with both local and global teams.
