Autorola Group, a global leader in the automotive industry with operations in 24 countries, is seeking a new Frontend Angular Developer for our Indicata division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company that is revolutionizing the vehicle auction platform industry.

• Indicata: The next generation of business intelligence and market insights software for the management of used vehicle inventories.

In this position, you will be joining Autorola Indicata’s technical department. In total Autorola Software Development consists of more than 65 highly skilled tech colleagues. We work like a matrix organization, where each business unit has their own dedicated product line, designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions.

The role

As our new Frontend Angular Developer, you will be part of a team that has dedicated it’s time to development and to the possibility of working in depth with coding without interruption. You will help ensure the scalability and the future design of the product, and you will have the opportunity to plan, debate and prioritize the tasks and projects at “dailys” every morning.

Key responsibilities

• Implementing the product design received from our dedicated UI/UX Designer.
• Work towards our Rest APIs, which are developed and maintained by our backend developers.
• Design of technical frontend solutions, which both fulfill the business requirements as well as company quality standards.
• Participation in releases
• Bugfixes and support that comes from internal support
• Participation in daily stand-ups and other SAFe/Scrum activities
• Participation in cross-disciplinary forums

Our software and infrastructure are built on AWS and Spring components. The backend of our software solutions is developed in Java, and our front is based on Angular. The tech stack you will be working with consists of Angular Framework, NodeJS, Bootstrap, TypeScript, Jenkins, Sentry, Git and naturally a lot of HTML and CSS.

You will be part of an open and positive team, with a relaxed and humorous tone. We have great cooperation across the teams and product lines, and generally, people have been working in the department for a long time. You will have flexible working hours with a focus on maintaining the right balance between work and private life.

Qualifications

• You have several years of professional experience in frontend development, or alternatively, you are a recent graduate with excellent academic results, ranking among the top performers in your class.
• You are motivated to work with a large frontend codebase, build on top of frontend libraries.
• Experience with frontend languages such as HTML5, CSS and Javascript.
• Experience working towards REST interfaces, the SOLID principles, and unit testing.
• It will be a big advantage if you already have experience with the Angular Framework.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar education.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Fluent in English – both spoken and written.
