Full-stack & Back-end Developer

ag analytics A/S is a leading auto-tech company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We specialize in marketing automation and customer satisfaction for the automotive industry. Our product, Autoflows, is used by more than 1000 locations across Europe.

We are strengthening our development team and looking for two people: a Full-stack and a Back-end Developer, who can bring fresh perspectives, contribute to best practices, and help build scalable, maintainable solutions.

This is not just about writing features—you’ll have the chance to influence our evolving architecture and development processes.

What you will do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain our web applications using modern Java on the backend, and SPA/Vue.js on the frontend.

• Work with large databases and continuous data flows.

• Implement and follow best practices for code quality, testing, security, and performance.

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team including full-stack and back-end engineers, QA, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Bring ideas and improvements to our code quality, testing, and security.

What you bring to the table

• A few years of full-stack development experience with modern web technologies.

• Proficiency in modern Java/Kotlin and SQL for backend development (or similar languages) and SPA frameworks for frontend.

• Solid understanding of and interest in software development best practices, design patterns, domain-driven design, and architecture principles.

• The ability to balance feature development with driving improvements in architecture, technology stack, code structure and processes.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Good communication skills in English

• Be based in the Copenhagen region or be willing to relocate.

Ideally, you also…

• Have experience with PostgreSQL, Keycloak, Docker/Podman, Gradle, SPA applications.

• Have previous experience with metadata-driven architectures.

• Have a background in scale-ups or start-ups.

• Enjoy a functional approach to Java development.

• Feel at home in a Linux production environment.

You will work from our Copenhagen office, located by Højbro Plads in the tech start-up community Matrikel 1.

About our interview process

• Meeting 1: Online or face-to-face introduction to ag analytics and you (30 minutes).

• Meeting 2: Conversation and common coding exercise with our Tech Lead (1 hour).

• Meeting 3: Meet the team, including  team members and the Head of Engineering (45 minutes), and the closing talk with the Head of Engineering covering practical details (30 minutes).
