Hiring: Gardener Assistant

Position Summary:

As a Gardener Assistant, you will work closely with our lead gardener to care for our kitchen gardens and landscaped grounds, ensuring they are in pristine condition for events. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for gardening, sustainability, and a desire to contribute to an eco-conscious event company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planting, watering, pruning, and harvesting from the kitchen gardens. 

• Help with soil preparation, composting, and pest management using sustainable practices. 

• Maintain landscaped areas, including lawns, flower beds, and walkways. 

• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment. 

• Ensure the gardens are visually appealing and event-ready at all times. 

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide fresh produce for event menus. 

• Support with seasonal planting schedules and garden planning.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred. 

• Knowledge of plants, vegetables, and herbs commonly grown in kitchen gardens. 

• A keen interest in sustainable gardening practices. 

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
