We’re looking for a Furniture Assembly Specialist to help bring our designs to life and then in the homes of our customers . Whether you have hands-on experience or are eager to learn, we want someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable, and ready to grow with us.
About Our Facility:
We have a well-equipped production facility that includes:
- CNC machines for precise digital cutting of oak veneered plywood, MDF, and sometimes solid wood.
- Sanding machines to ensure a smooth finish on all surfaces.
- Edge bending machines for seamless and clean edges.
- Our own paint shop, where we apply high-quality finishes to enhance the beauty and durability of our furniture.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing the Workspace: Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and equipped with all necessary tools and materials before starting the assembly.
- Levelling: Accurately level furniture pieces to ensure stability and proper alignment during installation.
- Scribing: Make precise scribe cuts to accommodate any irregularities in walls or flooring, ensuring a seamless fit of furniture pieces.
- Assembling Components: Carefully assemble furniture parts, including cabinets, drawers, and shelves, using appropriate techniques and tools to ensure structural integrity.
- Mounting Fixtures: Securely mount furniture pieces to walls or floors as needed, following safety protocols and best practices to prevent damage.
- Final Adjustments: Make any necessary adjustments to ensure doors, drawers, and other moving parts operate smoothly.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections to confirm that all assembled pieces meet Simbio’s high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
- Collaborating: Work closely with our design and production teams to address any challenges that arise during the assembly process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in furniture assembly or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
- A growth mindset: We encourage continuous learning and improvement.
- Familiarity with specific tools and equipment used in furniture assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions accurately.
- Experience with various materials (MDF, solid wood, laminate) and their implications for assembly.
- Strong quality control skills to ensure every piece meets our high standards.
- Good physical fitness for handling and carrying furniture parts, including navigating stairs without an elevator.
- Someone who values punctuality, trustworthiness, and accountability—showing up on time and taking ownership of your work.
- Flexibility: While our working hours are regular, we appreciate someone willing to put in extra effort when tight deadlines arise.
- Danish CPR number and a B driving license are required.
- English is essential; knowledge of Danish is a plus.
