Acquiring external specialized expertise with industry insight and subject matter knowledge support COWI's ambitions on development and optimization. For Procurement to become a strategic partner for our business when engaging with professional service suppliers, and to implement a structured category strategy for professional services category, we are seeking a Global Category Manager for Professional Services with deep expertise and firsthand experience in the necessary processes.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
Oversee the Professional Services Category, developing and implementing a global strategy for professional services, incl. management consulting, legal, HR, and financial services, etc. Continuously optimize professional services spending via value-adding procurement initiatives, while maintaining a realistic cost level for the professional services category. Develop a collaborative partnership with internal stakeholders and act as a procurement advisor to proactively identify sourcing opportunities and cost improvement potentials for relevant professional services Establish preferred and strategic supplier portfolios for each professional services area to streamline service adoption and enhance commercial terms and service quality Implement robust governance and Supplier Relationship Management through KPIs and SLAs to enhance supplier performance in service quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, therefore increasing the value delivered to COWI. Integrate sustainability criteria and metrics into the acquisition of professional services and performance reporting. Actively lead and contribute to implementing and enhancing the Procurement strategy, processes, tools, and related initiatives Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

On top of that, you will:
Hold a master's degree with 7+ years of experience in strategic procurement in international organizations. Have a solid commercial mindset with in-depth knowledge of procurement strategy, tools, techniques, and processes. Proven track record of category management and contract negotiation for various professional services. Extensive experience in Stakeholder Management with enhanced interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization and across cultures. Excellent English language skills, both oral and written.
