Global Procurement manager (F/M/D)

EagleBurgmann KE A/S, on behalf of Freudenberg Flow Technologies, is looking for an experienced Global Procurement Manager for our Static Sealing Solutions business segment. You will have overall responsibility for procurement and ensure financial targets are achieved in collaboration with the global and local team of Procurement Managers and their respective teams. Your primary tasks will include:

• Overall management and development of the global Static Sealing Solutions Procurement setup to meet annual financial and strategic targets.
• Coaching and mentoring of staff in local locations.
• Category Manager for each main category.
• Development and implementation of a global Static Sealing Solutions Procurement strategy that supports global as well as regional requirements and needs.
• Continuous optimization of processes and KPIs (OTD, availability, lead time from suppliers, quality- and risk management).
• Collaborate with Static Sealing Solutions management to continuously evaluate supplier performance and ensure optimal global supplier footprint.
• Work closely with Q/HSE in the supplier development and approval process.
• Continuously improve efficiency in procurement using Lean methods (e.g. forecasting, purchasing and approval processes).
• Represent Static Sealing Solutions and collaborate with EagleBurgmann Global Procurement

Professional qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and management of a multicultural team.
• Ability to “lead through leaders”.
• Relevant academic education and continuous training/upskilling in procurement areas.
• Broad and comprehensive understanding of procurement concepts and principles
• Good communication and diplomatic skills that can be used in both leadership and negotiation situations.
• Strong project management skills.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Special Qualifications and Know How:

• In-depth experience using basic and advanced procurement tools, as well as the ability to communicate these.
• Demonstrates strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Innovative, self-motivating and result oriented personality/behavioral profile.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented – where necessary.
• Team player with good leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills, both in writing and vocally.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Good knowledge of SAP (for daily use and conducting training for employees in purchasing departments).
• Good language skills:
  • English (verbally/written)
  • German (verbally)
