The position
We offer a unique opportunity to engage with internal and external stakeholders, gain project management experience, understand the value of public affairs, and engage with global colleagues on global policy issues. The position also includes supporting team members with various day-to-day tasks across our projects and initiatives.
Your tasks will include:
As an Intern, you will learn how government affairs contribute to the overall business objectives, and ultimately help improve the lives of people living with chronic disease. The position will allow you to strengthen your skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs.
Practicalities:
Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period and have at least 6 months of studying left. Both the internship period and working hours will be flexible to accommodate school projects/exams.
Qualifications
You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Political Science, International Business and Politics, Business Management, Global Health, or another similar field, with a minimum of 1-2 years of study remaining. We expect that you are an excellent communicator with fluency in spoken and written English.
You are an intellectually curious individual with a strong will to succeed, a lot of energy, and the capacity to work both individually and in groups. See yourself as a person who gets the job done on time without sacrificing the quality of your deliverables.
About the department
Global Public Affairs & Patient Relations (GPAPR) is part of the Global Public Affairs & Sustainability area in Novo Nordisk. We aspire to be a proactive and solutions-oriented partner to patients and policymakers in the joint ambition to raise the standards of care in our therapy areas and help solve society’s fundamental challenges.
The role is anchored in the International Government Affairs & Policy team, which is responsible for providing clear strategic direction and guidance on public affairs, policy positions, and stakeholder management to contribute to society and secure the right framework conditions for Novo Nordisk. The team focuses on key account management in Novo Nordisk’s top ten and focus markets.
