Group Junior Tax Advisor (Student Part-time position - 50%) – Heimstaden Group Tax – Oslo, Copenhagen

The Team
The European tax landscape is complex and ever-changing, Heimstaden Group Tax team is a growing team that consists of 4 highly skilled and dedicated professionals.
They are seeking a Tax Intern that will diligently take the next step in supporting tax initiatives and projects across the organization.
This is a part-time position (1.5 – 3 days per week), open for candidates based in Oslo/ Copenhagen.

You will play a pivotal role in our team by: 

• Provide support in tax initiatives/project matters to the Heimstaden business units at specific Country level by working closely with Treasury, Legal, Accounting and Corporate Finance amongst others.
• Support on tax audits, contacts with tax authorities and other relevant authorities for specific countries in cooperation with local Tax teams and/or Head of Finance.
• Support on acquisitions, divestments and reorganizations from a tax perspective.
• Involved in developing Heimstaden tax processes, including supporting the review of quarterly tax calculations from the operating countries together with local Tax team/Heads of Finance and Group Accounting/Controlling.
• Manage tax advisors and other external advisors Group level and engage in appointing and determining scope and use of tax advisors at Country Level in cooperation with tax teams and Heads of Finance.
• Work actively to be at the forefront of analysis/implementation of international and local changes to regulations that may affect the Group's tax burden.
• Support on transfer pricing related matters including Master and Local files
• Ad hoc tasks related to the Tax function may be required based on priorities and needs.

To be an ideal fit for our team, you possess: 

• Pursuing education in Law and/or Finance, with some specialization in taxation through courses or thesis work.
• Interests in corporate tax, international tax, general tax, transfer pricing, and value added tax (VAT).
• Good commercial and social skills. Team player.
• Strong proficiency in English.
