Electricity Maps is a global data platform providing real-time and predictive electricity signals allowing any device to reduce their cost and emissions by informing them about the best time to consume electricity.
Our free app is used by millions, powered by an extensive community. Our commercial API is used by the world’s largest enterprises. Google uses it to change the time and location of their datacenter energy usage and Samsung uses it in their SmartThings Energy App (read more about our customer stories here). We recently raised €5M to accelerate our growth and are backed by world-class investors with experience from Unity, Zendesk, Datadog, Hugging Face, DocuSign and more.
We’re looking for an experienced Growth Lead to catalyze our revenue growth by bringing our product positioning, messaging and packaging to the next level, ultimately owning the generation of qualified leads for our sales team leveraging our existing audience, community and products. As a key member of our go-to-market organisation, you’ll work closely with the leadership team and account executives to build the marketing playbook and marketing function from the ground up.
Note that the role is based in Copenhagen (you should consider relocating: it’s one of the most live-able cities in the world!)
About you
You have at least 5 years of experience in product or growth marketing role in a high-growth B2B enterprise startup.
You’re T-shaped, with deep expertise in product marketing and broad knowledge across other functions (e.g. demand gen and content marketing).
You excel at building customer empathy, enjoy building relationships and proactively engaging with them to understand their needs and refine value propositions.
You have a strong technical intuition and curiosity to learn the product and understand our (technical) customers deeply
You’re an excellent storyteller, able to translate our technical product into compelling marketing messages with vision and ambition.
You have a hands-on mentality. You default into action, want to gather first learnings fast, and iterate on the progress along the way
You have a strong data-driven mindset, with a track record of running experiments, measuring impact, and iterating quickly.
What you’ll do
Use competitive analysis and customer research to position, price and package our product in a way that resonates with target audiences and differentiates our brand in the market.
Craft compelling product narratives and messaging that position Electricity Maps as a thought leader in the industry by resonating with technical and business stakeholders alike.
Analyze market data, user behavior, and competitor trends to refine personas and segments as well as identify new growth opportunities.
Manage end-to-end product launch plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and positioning across all channels.
Manage and run growth marketing initiatives to optimize customer acquisition funnels, improve conversion rates and generate pipeline for our sales.
Equip sales with key competitive insights and high-impact assets (e.g., pitch decks, case studies) to turn insights into actionable strategies for revenue growth.
