GSA Talent Program – Junior International Sales Associate (CEO Assistant - Student Internship)


About the Role

At Global Startup Awards (GSA), we are at the forefront of connecting startups, governments, corporates, and ecosystem leaders globally. As part of our elite GSA Talent Program, we are looking for a Junior International Sales Associate to directly assist our CEO in driving international business development efforts.

This role is ideal for an ambitious individual passionate about international markets, sales, and strategic leadership. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside the CEO on projects spanning Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, from government collaborations to corporate partnerships.

You’ll be exposed to every step of the international sales process: research, outreach, meetings, negotiations, and proposals. It’s the perfect role for someone eager to develop a global career in business and leadership.


What You’ll Do

Assist the CEO with researching and identifying international leads (governments, corporates, ecosystem players)

Prepare meeting briefs and be part of high-level international sales calls & meetings

Support in drafting sales proposals, quotes, and partnership offers

Track and organize sales pipelines, ensuring follow-ups and documentation

Provide ad-hoc support in strategic projects, client communications, and presentations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall GSA strategy

What We Look For

Interest in international business & sales

✅ Strong research & analytical skills

✅ Excellent written and verbal English communication

✅ Detail-oriented and highly organized

Reliable and proactive – you take ownership and show initiative

✅ Comfortable using digital tools (Google Drive, Excel, CRM platforms)


Bonus Points

Previous experience or coursework in business, sales, or international relations

Passion for startups, innovation, and working in multicultural environments

Ambition to pursue an international career in business development


Important Notes

This is an unpaid internship under the GSA Talent Program

Minimum commitment: 5 months (approx. 15-20 hours/week, flexible)

‍ Open to students, recent graduates, or professionals seeking international sales experience

Remote-friendly, but access to occasional in-person meetups possible (Offices in Copenhagen, Pécs, and more)
